Access your LINE Channel ID and Channel Secret

To integrate LINE to your website, here are some steps you have to follow first (it's easy, we promise!)👇

1. Access your LINE Channel ID and Channel Secret

To get your Channel ID and Channel Secret, you have to first create a LINE Official Account. Check out the guide here.

Then, log in to your LINE Official Account Manager and select your Line Official Account.

2. Enable messaging API

Click on "settings" on the top right, followed by Messaging API on the left.

You will be prompted to select a provider to manage your Line Official Account. Enter the required information and complete the process.

Upon completion, you can find Channel ID and Channel Secret which you will need when setting up LINE in NovoChat.

Access your Channel Token

You're almost there, keep going! 💪

1. LINE Developers Console

Log into your LINE Developers Console with the same account as your LINE Official Account Manager.

Select the channel you created earlier.

2. Get the Messaging API

Open the Messaging API tab and scroll down to find the Channel Access Token. Click on "issue" to retrieve the token.

Integrate LINE on your website

Just follow these simple steps to start chatting with your customers!

1. Sign up for NovoChat

Get started by creating an account with NovoChat - and don't worry, it's free! 😉

2. Create a workspace

Creating a workspace allows you to keep track of all your conversations in one place.

Think of it as a folder where you keep important documents. 🗂

You can create several workspaces if you have multiple businesses.

3. Add LINE

Add LINE to your workspace.

4. Make sure you have a LINE account

You should already have a LINE Official Account by this stage. But if you don't, follow this step-by-step guide to creating one.

5. Input your details

Key in your Channel ID, Channel Secret, and Channel Token that you retrieved earlier.

Generate the webhook URL.

6. Paste the webhook

Insert the webhook URL in the Messaging API tab in your Line Official Account Manager. 

7. Verify your webhook

Back on the Messaging API page in your Line Developers Console, scroll down to find Webhook Settings.

Verify and turn the "Use webhook" toggle on.

8. Start chatting

Back in the NovoChat LINE page, click on "Confirm".

And that's it - you can now start chatting with your customers on LINE!
