Lately, we’ve gotten some questions about how you can use NovoChat. So we thought, why not create tutorials for you so we can clear your doubts and give you a detailed walkthrough of how to use NovoChat? 🤔

And so that’s what we did! ✌️

In this tutorial, let’s explore sending 1-on-1 outgoing messages.

Use Case:

Just to clarify, aside from being a unified inbox to house all your conversations from chat apps, NovoChat can also send 1-on-1 and mass outbound messages to your contacts.

The main limitation with a unified inbox is that you have to wait for your leads to contact you via WhatsApp (or LINE or Messenger) for you to start a conversation with them.

However, with 1-on-1 outbound messages, you’re able to initiate a conversation from your side. This opens up new possibilities with NovoChat such as:

  • Following-up with leads via WhatsApp
  • Re-igniting cold leads
  • Providing personalized customer support, and many more!

Here are some examples of how you can use NovoChat’s 1-on-1 outgoing messaging feature:

A) A logistics company has a shipment of goods to send to a customer. The customer support team can start a conversation with the customer through 1-on-1 WhatsApp messaging to get a quicker response.

B) A lending services company assigns a lead to a sales rep based on language and location. The sales rep can send a 1-on-1 message on WhatsApp to create a more personalized experience for the client. This can also garner a quicker response.

💡 Of course, both companies want to be able to track the visibility of the message and have the option to control the conversation. This wouldn’t be possible with a personal WhatsApp account.

Step-by-step guide to send 1-on-1 outbound messages

Step 1:

Once you’ve logged into your NovoChat account and selected your workspace, click on the ‘edit’ icon at the top right corner of your conversations panel.

Step 2:

A ‘Send Message’ window will appear. Then, select the channel you want to send your message in. In this case, we’ll choose WhatsApp.

Next, enter the phone number and the message you want to send your recipient.

Once you’re done, hit the ‘Send Message’ button and your recipient will receive your message instantly!
